In a galaxy far, far away….

Lets see…Where did I leave off…Ah yes. I remember like it was yesterday… Well, yesterday we went onto the island where Dad’s friend resides. We ate, went out onto his boat and I tell you…I never knew a boat could do that without tipping over…The water was cold, salty, and left a rather tasty crust all over my skin… The day before that, we went onto Sanibel Island, where we drove around, went on a…

A post of at least 400 words.

Yep…That’s what…That’s what this is…A post of at least…400 words…. ANYWAY I have made several pairs of bracers. Yep. See? Here’s a pair > They are for sale here http://www.etsy.com/listing/91849581/hand-tooled-leather-bracers  if you are interested. We left that other campground, and are now in Fort Meyers somewhere in a campground filled with old people. But it has a nice pool and hottub >.< I just got back from a Michaels-like store where I got a bunch…

Lego Land

Yes, we went to Lego Land. It was awesome. Mostly veered toward the hearts of young children, but awesome non the less. I went on four different roller coasters (all of them were small, though) and saw about three childhoods worth of Legos. T’was fun. Yesterday I started working on my leather, finally. I made Ellie an arm bracer, and today I am making some for a couple of my friends! It is so much…

Companions

So, we spent the last 7-10 days at the rally for Families On The Road, or FOTR. The rally was only supposed to be three days long, but every one had so much fun that they continued to mingled and gather at the firepit every night for a long, companionable night of talking and laughing. I, myself had a good time. Jacob and I met these two boys (ages 12 and 8) who happen to…

Being overly social

So, here we are, back in Florida…Nearly where we were about a month and a half ago. We are not staying in Lake Magic, but just down the road from it… Mother and I went to pick oranges yesterday, as well as collect some boiled peanuts, honeycomb, leather scraps and expensive paper. I’ll tell you, the oranges here are absolutely amazing. So much better then those you buy at the store. Honeycomb is really good…

day ???

So, we went bowling in the Air Force Base Bowling Alley, and I once again found out that I suck at bowling. Ellie beat me. Twice. While we were there, we visited my Aunt and Uncle and the two adorable little cousins. So adorable. *dies* In any case we have left and are now in a rather fine National Park somewhere in Florida. Do not really know where, but I do like it. Our site…

…*sighs*

Well, time, at long last, to leave the warm and misty beaches of Gulf Shores. Time to leave behind the ever present crashing of waves and the sound of crying gulls. The tall pine trees that carpet the ground with their needles and the winds that blow every day. Of all the places we’ve been to, Golf Shores has to be my favorite (second only to Sandy Pines, of course).  There’s just something about it,…

To Arms!

Or legs, I suppose. So, on December 25th, I awoke from my peaceful dreams to a pleasant glow and a tree that protectively covered a load of presents. Not much longer, the paper was littered with bright paper and various objects were revealed in the dim light. I obtained many wonderful and odd items such as a renaissance dress, a pair of greaves, tons of drawing books, music CDs and bacon lip balm. I presently…

I poke it with my sword…

So, this morning, I awoke to my watch alarm beeping rudely. I politely dismissed the alarm and hopped from my bed and dashed to my computer where I quickly logged into Skype and set my various Dungeons and Dragons equipment on the table (dice, character sheet, more dice, miniature, pencil, eraser, computer, ‘nother computer). Not long after, one of my friends called me over Skype, and She, Her Father, Jacob and I launched into a…

Happy, happy day.

So, the other day, Dad, Jacob, Grandpa, Ella and I all hopped in the car went to tour the S.S. Alabama once again. We’ve done it enough so the old fuel smell and the layout of the ship send waves of nostalgia crashing over my mind. It is a pretty cool, if creepy place filled with strange rooms and dark, cramped corridors. Just yesterday was my 15th birthday. I am now officially old, over the…
